Interesting Read On The CMP

As hard as they tried to spin the CMP as evil, all they could come up with was more guns end up on the streets, those now illegal guns can be traced back to the guv'mint, and it's a give away - .gov should retain the profits from the sales.

1. Other than theft, I am unaware of an effort to move surplus M1, M1C, 1903 or 1911s into the criminal element.

2. Traced back to the original purchasers, who are CMP members.

3. What would a new .gov bureaucracy to handle the disposition of CMP eligible weapons cost...CMP thinks they'll make $18m from 1911 sales, .gov would be lucky to break even.

I hope it causes some of the libs who are able to think, actually think.

Without a presuppositional worldview that “guns are evil” the article fails in its efforts to make the CMP look bad. This is truly an example of “preaching to the choir” because of you aren’t in that choir, it all seems pretty innocuous.
