What was your very first firearm?

NEF 20ga single, I believe I was 11.  I graduated to a 12ga 870 about a year later.  Still have both, and the 870 is my go to shotgun.  The NEF is nearly in mint condition.  Has one tiny nick at the end of the barrel where I bumped it into the patio cleaning it the day that I got it.  It will always have a place in my safe, but I've used it so little it just doesn't hold a ton of sentimental value because not many memories are associated with it.

M69 Romanian training rifle. Older kid down the block bought 3 of them from a sporting goods store for $50 each I think. We divvied them up and they all ended up at my house over time since my parents were then only ones that let me have em.

I ultimately lost track of them at a friends house where they stayed for years until the original purchaser got ahold of two of them and gave me one, still have it today and was able to locate a magazine thanks to a tgoer.

It's my moms favorite rifle now so I never get to shoot it unless I'm at her house and pop a few calibre through it.

Cresent Arms Victor Ejector .410 single shot that my Dad gave me when I was about 10 or 11. It had belonged to a neighbor who broken the stock and just gave it to my Dad. Dad took it to an old man he knew who made a new stock for it. He then gave it to me. Ain't worth much, but I'll never part with it. ;)

Beretta Silver Snipe 20 gauge o/u that my father ordered from Unity Buying Service around 1964.  Total cost $129.  I paid half of it from money I had saved up and my parents paid the rest of it as a Christmas present for me.
