After reading a few threads over on INGO, it looks like they're slow to ban.  I'm going go with the fact this guy isn't a member under this name on RMGO (Rocky Mtn Gun Owners) and the only two places he's surfaced are here and INGO, and just cut bait.

@MacGyver, I owe you a cup of coffee.  ;)

Ol' Karl signed up for an account in INGO a few days before signing up here and is a prolific contributor there as well...

And rambling about the moon over there as well. If this is what retirement looks like I think I'll keep working..

I think we’re probably all better off with less drama in our lives.

ascii porn over 600 bps baud. Those were the days...

I knew several BBS owners. It was amazing and sometimes scary the stuff they kept on their drives.  You sure had to pick and choose what you downloaded. Terrible to wait forever to realize you downloaded a clipart file.. lol

If my folks had known what I saw at 9yo. They had no idea how to use the computer and had no idea what was out there. From there onto Agent and news servers.

Yep but certainly harder to get than Snapchat that kids use now. It was the beginnings of the non-academic internet..

I remember when HTML was a new thing and I wrote web pages by typing them in notepad. Those were the days.

Did I miss something? I didn't think the guy was anywhere near a ban yet, albeit I did think that it was inevitable ...

I think it was the fact that he was pushing the same crap to who knows how many state gun forums. Clearly spamming in my eyes.

At least we knew what he thought about liberals.  He had that refrain singing as often as Cato the Elder told the Roman Senate his thoughts on Carthage needing to be destroyed.

Well, at least he had something going for him :hiding:

 As a general rule, it’s a pretty decent idea to let us get to know you first before you start spouting off your crazy conspiracy theories.

But it's the crazy conspirators who get the best threads going ...

At least he never said that the Roswell alien crash gave us the tech to do that moon landing... he would have sounded really crazy then... 😉

You mean it didn't? I know there was a late night TV show about that once ...

I guess my own father turning 70 and having a lot of empty time in the house while my stepmother works has met thinking about people's motives when they come post like we saw.  The guys profile said he was retired, and who knows how much of all this was just reaching out for someone to talk to as a way to pass the time.  Somehow he didn't strike me as the breakfast and golf to fill the first half of the day type.

Or he was a legit forum troll...his username just happened to the name of a sniper in a video game.
