Hey everyone didn’t know where to post this, I just bought a stripped M39 receiver and want to put a M44 barrel on it but I am not sure if I need a tax stamp for a SBR or not can anyone clarify this?

No.  M44 barrels are around 20”.  Do you have something other in mind than putting together a rifle?

BTW, an M39 receiver is in fact a Mosin 91 receiver.  That’s who the Finns got them from, by force.

no idea it has to go through an ffl, i was going to post the link but they are now sold out

Finns scrubbed any marking there might be on the top of the receiver but usually left the ones under the tang alone.  You can usually tell by what is there.
