That was a giant cluster F. It's pretty clear this guy wanted the cops to shoot but I can't help but notice how much faster cops pull the trigger these days. It doesn't take much. Make a quick motion, shots fired. Holding a cell phone, shots fired. Reach for ID...

Damn, the worst thing about this is the K9 getting killed in the crossfire.

I have watched the video several times ad I did not seen a K-9 anywhere. If there was one killed it had to be by friendly fire which make all the worse.......JMHO

Right at the end of the video about 1:54 or 1:55, you can see the K-9 running up to the suspect at the left rear of the car.

Well I won't say that LEOs are all trigger happy. Their are some men and women that should not be wearing a police uniform, thats for sure. They have a chip on their shoulder when they put it on and the chip remains when they take it off. My issue is what kind of a country would it be without the good ones that perform their jobs and don't have the attitude the few bad ones have. IMO I would rather have the good ones but sometimes you have to take a little bad to see the good.

He was being stopped as a suspect in a double homicide. He failed to comply until he exited and pointed the pipe like a gun. I would have shot him.

Until I read in the story that he had a pipe I assumed he was pulling a gun. He had ample opportunity to stay alive and he decided not to.

There are a lot of bad or questionable shootings, but that wasn’t one.

In the video Erik felt the need to post; the Trooper was charged, pled guilty and was sent to prison.
