Finally remembered  his name. When lived in Oliver Springs,[worked at y-12 plant] in late 60's, remember his store ads on radio and tv. Was a staunch conservative. Colorful interesting man, any of you older guys remember him. Took me over a week to remember his name, getting old really is fun.

I had to laugh when you said "Getting old really is fun"! I find getting old a lot of  things and fun is just (1) of them! Some of mine are not so colorful so I won't say because I like being a member here..................:clap:

Only time I met him personally, it was regarding a coon dog my wife found lost up near Chilhowee Mtn. I wound up taking it by Cas' kennels which were on Middlebrook Pike at the time, and damn if Cas himself didn't walk out and damn if he didn't know the dog personally, belonged to one of his store managers or something.
