sale-or-trade Mack Bolan...The Executioner Series

Recommended Posts

This might be a long shot, but here goes.

I have the first 110 books in this series by Don Pendleton, all in paperback. Plus about a dozen of the novels from the series. Condition ranges from 7 to 10 on a 10 scale. These books were very hot initially, but probably will read as dated in terms of story and weaponry now. But lots of pretty good reading still.

If anyone is interested in them all, I'd like to sell for 50 for the lot. That's less than 50 cents each. These would have to be a local pickup, as the weight is more than I'd want to ship.

As for trade...that's wide open. If interested just try an offer.

I used to read those growing up. I’d love to have them but have no plans to make a trip west anytime soon.

Yes, I am a hoarder, a book hoarder that is. Well maybe other stuff too.

I used to hit the small local bookstore every week just to see when a new Executioner would be in. lol

My book problem has gotten out of hand. I'm not the sort of person who reads one and discards it. I have a core of SF, and action/mystery, and of course the EOTWAWKI books that I'm trying to keep in a small room I laughingly call an office. My only bookcase style storage space left means I have to block the 2 windows. Wife isn't really down with it, but that might just happen.

If nobody else is interested, I can just keep them in the boxes( and totally tee off the wife) in the garage until you might have an opportunity.

Not saying that's a promise though. I'd just like to see them gotten by a reader, rather than a seller. E-bay has them from 5 to 20 apiece on some of them. Rather not have to contend with them and piecemeal shipping though.

Hoping there's someone around here who would be interested.

I read the hell out of these growing up.  Nothing made me want a 44 Automag more!

Yep, probably read the first 30 or so when I was in the Army. Great read, yep David, him thumping the bad guys with that Automag and his 240 grain heart stoppers was classic! :)

This was a great idea hipower! I like the idea of a book-swap area or thread.

Like others I read and thoroughly enjoyed many, many of these books.

I need to look at my ever growing box of "recently read" books and ease my hoarding issues too LOL

You used the bad h word. We don't do that, we collect.....

Ok, guys. You collect. I've been into sooo many different things that I can't say I collect any more.

Comics for years. Comic related figures and toys. Diecast cars 95%+ are 1/18 scale. And of course this little addiction.

Wife says I am OCD. After that confession, and the way I've been this morning...I think she's right.

Got home after leaving Molly for her surgery, started taking out the trash. Saw that the garage bags needed changing. Saw leaves to sweep behind the bags. Started that and saw that the truck door was open. I'd not finished taking things inside. Got in and got on the phone. Sat and ate sandwich and donuts before heading to dentist. Saw UPS return box not labeled. Sat down donut to finish the packaging, Sat down to check emails and here.

Looked outside...truck door still open. I think I have a problem.

I am an OCD borderline hoarder who tells people he has a small "collection" of many different things.

Wait...we were talking about books, weren't we? I gotta go close that truck door.

Used to love reading this series when i was a youngster in the USAF!  Had every one of them up to a point.  I feel ya ion storage of book, tho.  I used to keep all books and prided myself on the size of my library.  But moving so often in the military with weight limitations taught me to pare down to the absolute minimum...now I keep VERY FEW fiction, and essential reference books is all.  Still have a huge bookcase full of books tho.    Now I read eBooks but I still also read bound books, but i get them form the library.

It's an incomplete welder that wouldn't probably take much to get it going.
I know nothing about welding other than I can recognize when 2 or more pieces of metal have been welded together.
My brother bought a shop and this was in it. I have no time or interest in welding with a machine that requires a REAL welderman to run it.  What you see is what you get. To me it looks like the leads were cut off, there probably was a gas pedal with it. Surely it can be used again, used for parts or used to make a flux capacitor.
I can't answer any questions other than, Yes, I can load it for you and no I won't deliver more than about 30 feet.
