What's the best way to sell a nice shotgun? More pics

Recommended Posts

I have a Charles  Hellis 12 ga. double barrel with  the original case that's just sitting. How can I sell it? The market for this kind of shotgun is fairly limited. Any suggestions?

The best way is for a low, low price to me!!🤣😋 Seriously though I agree with Garufa. A serious auction place unless someone here steps up. Wish I could, doing a DuckDuck search yielded some lovely guns, even the plain versions with out engraving are nice. Probably out of my impulse buy price range. Would love a picture. Any idea of value or what you might be asking? I'm not trying to skirt forum rules. Just curious.

Boxlock, Sidelock, Ejectors, Wood Quality, Engraving, Bbl Length,  Casecolors, Originality, Damascus or Fluid Steel ????

Many things to consider.

Steve Barnett is a good double seller, Auction House is another option.
Taking it to Tulsa or Louisville Gunshow would expose you to good buyers.

Picture if possible please, always like to see a good gun.

Contact Double Guns of Nashville. They deal in high end shotguns. I know they buy guns and they might sell it for you on consignment.

I did that 2 weeks ago. Owner s aid they're not buying anything right now. And I didn't start this as a For Sale ad. Not trying to get around a rule. Just asking for advice.

I'm confused about the "rule"  you're referring to, if you can clarify that.  Ok to PM me if you wish.

For Sale items can only be in Firearms Classifieds.

Pony up for a membership to this site and post it in the classified. Price it for what you hope to get and reduce the price until you get a bite. I’ve met many a fine fella trading on TGO.

My curiosity is strong regarding the specs of this shotgun and what you value it at. I expect others would agree.

Sorry sir. I did not see that. I don't see any harm in posting it here in the classifieds if you know how much you'd like to get out of it. I'm not guaranteeing it'll sell here, but for me, it's usually a great place to start. If not, I've had luck selling on ###.com as well. Gunbroker might net the most money, but will in turn create the most headache.

'Tis a handsome piece!
