Barrett Factory Tour

Recommended Posts

This video is almost 2 years old, but I just ran across it and thought I would share it since they are in our community.

I know some of you don’t like Yeager, but try to overlook that. :) Chris Barrett gives a good tour.

I didn’t know Barrett was making a bolt action hunting rifle. I also didn’t know the military doesn’t want black guns. But I’ll start another thread about that.

Enjoy....

Chris spoke at the Music City SCI banquet last year. He'a a really good guy and a fantastic gun designer. If you haven't seen the Barrett Fieldcraft you really should take a look. It's a great lightweight design.

Buddy bought a 82a1 from outpost armory, Ronnie drove over and signed his rifle case.

I was in the store one day and Ronnie was walking around. I felt like I should ask for his autograph…. but I didn’t.  After I left I thought; I bet people didn’t think John Browning or John Garand’s autograph would be a cool thing to have back in the day either. :)

I looked up a picture just to see what he looks like. Unless he was wearing a company shirt that said "Ronnie Barret - Owner" I doubt I'd pic him out of a crowd.

With that being said...that's a sweet pin. That's...about all I could afford with Barrett's name attached to it.

You get a pin when you buy one of these, sadly my case wasn't signed by Ronnie.

I’ve seen enough Pictures Video, and Stories about him on Al Gore’s World Wide Web that I knew who he was when I saw him. :)

I bet if you took it back to the store and left it with Chris; he would get it signed. I would. :)
