If you're worried about Carry Guard being cancelled, drink your problems away.

Andrew Branca stated,

Separately, and coincidentally, today I received an email from the NRA, addressed to me personally.

Was it about NRA Carry Guard, and the steps that are being taken to make sure that something like this never happens again?

Of course not.

It’s an invitation to join the NRA wine club. I kid you not…

Well, I've been receiving NRA wine ads for some time now, so I won't jump on that wagon yet.  But I've received at least three ads in the last week or so, so they are really pushing it this time around.

Do you belong to the NPR wine club?

No, I try pretty hard to avoid membership in any kind of organization. And there's a pretty strong negative correlation between my interest in membership and how motivated they are to have me as a member. 😉

ETA: Plus, you know, I never could get enthusiastic about that whole wine thing... Beer's okay, bourbon is good, wine is fine, but I'm not one seek it out.
