Now the voters need to band together and run the banners out of office in Nov. 21.

Bill

Because there aren’t enough of them. If it wasn’t for the Electoral College Hillary Clinton would be President. Imagine what that would be like.

It appears we are divided about evenly between Conservatives/Liberals or Republican/Democrat. The group that wants the government to run their lives is getting bigger. Health Care appears to be the tool they will use to get it done.

I don’t see how anyone could vote for a liberal, a democrat or certainly a socialist for anything; but it appears half the population may do it.

I dunno about that. Many people do not even vote because they know how their state will go. I believe that Oh Shoot was one of them on this very forum. I think that if there wasn't the electoral college and the election counting was pure nationwide popular vote you'd see many more people voting that normally don't.

That could very well be.

We all keep seeing that we are the most divided we have been in many years. I think a big part of that is because the division is so close. Most any issue could go either way.

It would certainly change the dynamics of the presidential election, wouldn't it?

Well…. In the last election “The Economy” was the #1 issue. Because of the huge advancements Trump has made for Business and the working class; it no longer is. According to the MSM Healthcare is #1 now. Will voters disregard everything he has done for a candidate claiming, “free healthcare for all”? many won’t because they are smart enough to know that nothing is free and there will be a huge cost attached. But a big percentage of the population know they will not be impacted, or impacted very little by that cost.

The Democrats have done a very good job of keeping healthcare discussions off the table until after the election. That way they can make all kind of ridiculous claims about what they will do, if elected.

The Republicans need to address healthcare before the election.

The Democrats are going to want to address mandatory background checks on all gun sales prior to the election.

Well, they did discuss healthcare frequently before the election, and Senator John RINO McCain screwed it up. Now I suspect they don't want to travel down that road again because the right can't get their :poop: together on these types of issues.
