Saw this sign at Bass Pro yesturday.

It has been awhile since I have been in Bass Pro in Memphis at I-40 Ext. 12 not the Pyramid.  My wife asked me if I noticed the gun sign when I came in and told her I did not.  Has anyone else seen this sign and know how long it has been up or if it is also at the Pyramid location.

That sign is at all of them nationwide. It’s only applicable to guns brought in for trade/smith/range services. I use the range at the one in Springfield, MO when I’m in town and they check the gun, and put a trigger lock on it that’s removed at the range or whatever counter who’s services you require. As far as your loaded carry gun, they aren’t concerned with that.

That sign has been there for YEARS!   I thought it odd when I first saw it and then realized it wasn't talking about carried firearms, but rather for guns coming in for scope mounting and the like.
