Interesting Zimmerman Lawsuit

Recommended Posts

Specifically, the complaint alleges that in March 2012, the Sanford Police Department thoroughly investigated the shooting of Trayvon Martin and closed the case as self-defense. A week later, Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump produced a recorded audio tape of “Diamond Eugene” whom he said was Trayvon’s 16-year-old girlfriend who was on the phone with Trayvon just before the altercation. However, two weeks later, 18-year-old Rachel Jeantel, the alleged imposter, appeared before prosecutors claiming to be “Diamond Eugene” and provided false statements to incriminate Zimmerman based on coaching from others.

These allegations are the result of newly discovered evidence just published in a book and film by Hollywood film director Joel Gilbert, called The Trayvon Hoax: Unmasking the Witness Fraud that Divided America. Based on Trayvon’s cell phone records, they allegedly show that Rachel Jeantel was not Trayvon’s girlfriend, was not on the phone with Trayvon before the altercation, and that she lied repeatedly to cause Zimmerman’s arrest and to try to send him to prison for life. The research also allegedly reveals that Trayvon’s real girlfriend and legitimate phone witness was in fact Miami resident Brittany Diamond Eugene, who was switched out for Jeantel when Eugene refused to bear false witness against Zimmerman.

This thread isn't about whether Zimmerman was or was not guilty. He was found innocent in court so no need for us to argue that again, we already did that.

This lawsuit alleges that the witness was faked along with evidence for the prosecution's sake.

I'm confused the more I read about this. Did Rachel Jeantel actually ever pretend to be Brittany Eugene? Doesn't seem so.

I mean, she used her real name back in 2013.

Maybe the lawsuit/article means that she pretended to have been the one Trayvon was on the phone with?

It would seem that telephone call records would show who was on the phone with Trayvon before the shooting.

Worth a read, the actual lawsuit:

http://www.larryklayman.com/pdf/191203-ZimmermanvFultonEtal.pdf

Defendant Rachel Jeantel is the half-sister of Brittany Diamond Eugene. Defendant Jeantel's mother is Marie Eugene, who is also the biological mother of Brittany Diamond Eugene.

The jury got it wrong. A murder victims parents should not have to go through something like this, in this country. This is sick.

Dang.

This ain't sealing the deal for you?

An expulsion hearing was set for Trayvon after he tried to hit a bus driver. Trayvon's text messages indicated he was dealing handguns to his underage friends, and that he was a heavy marijuana user.

That was a dark time for the country and for this forum. I don’t want to go there again, it will serve no purpose, so…peace out.

Which was why in the original post I trying to set the direction that this thread isn't about Zimmerman's guilt or innocence but rather this lawsuit itself and whether or not there is any truth to it.

Out of curiously, would it at minimum catch your attention if page 19 of the lawsuit posted above turned out to be true?

IMO, if that is true, which should be proven quite easily, the lawsuit should go through and they should be made to pay for it.  The process should not be rigged, for, or against guilt.  So when a prosecutor presents perjured testimony or causes a witness to perjure themselves, they should get disbarred and jailed.

Agreed 100%. It seems to me as well that if any of the lawsuit is true, should be easy to prove.

Or disprove if it is wrong.

Personally, I think that both prosecutorial and judicial misconduct should be felonies.

Ancient history. No need to rehash this or any BS lawsuits filled about it. They're just trying to stir up race issues again.

We've all known for quite some time that the justice system has nothing to do with justice. Its all about winning. Both sides will coach witnesses, tamper with evidence, pull dirty ticks and flat out lie to win.  Its not right, but that's the way it is.

Are y’all really going to rehash this again? That is the inevitable result of bringing up Zimmerman.
