Christmas sales

Recommended Posts

My fiancé is looking for her son a new Mossberg® Maverick® 88 12 Gauge All-Purpose Pump-Action Shotgun for Christmas and nobody is running any sales yet. She was going to go tomorrow and just buy it at full price, but I told her there's no reason to when the Christmas sales are about to kick in. There is always a dead zone between black Friday and Xmas sales and we are in the middle of them right now. Every year retailers run the same sales so I'm curious if anyone remembers last year who was selling them and for what?

It's cheaper than what mine cost, that's for sure. I figured if they ran a $25 sale and mossberg had a $25 rebate that would save ammo money. My S&W was $180 off Black Friday with combined rebates and sales together. Academy took it from $479 to $349 then the S&W rebate was $50. It helped a bunch combined together. He's 20 so any ammo money is good ammo money.

How cheap do they get? $189.99 at Academy doesn't sound unreasonable.

That's less than Buds or GaG.
