I have enabled a new feature in our software that essentially grants everyone limited moderator powers when it comes to reporting content that goes against our community guidelines.

This new feature is "Auto Moderation" and is currently set so that if TWO OR MORE PEOPLE report content that falls into one of the following categories...

  • Spam
  • Abusive Content
  • Non-Benefactor Advertising
  • Benefactor Posting in the Wrong Area

The content will be automatically hidden until a moderator has a chance to address it.

 

This allows us to keep TGO clean and acknowledges the facts that our best defense has long been our members and that our tireless, hard-working, and insanely dedicated team of volunteer moderators can't be everywhere at once and definitely can't be online 24/7.

I will tweak the automation that makes this work behind the scenes to ensure that it isn't used unfairly.  :)
