Diamond tipped ++P++ armor piercing, exploding, pre-fragmented, lead free, low smoke and flash, almost silent, handloads....:D (did I say that out loud?)

No, wait a minute, that was in a dream last night...

In reality:

357 Sig Triton

9mm Federal EFMJ

380 Gold Dot

32 Winchester Silvertip

Incendiary--hit em anywhere, and they'll burst into flames!
Try explaining that to a jury though...

"I swear, he attacked me and then he just blow'd up right there!"

Dumb question what is the difference between standard and LE rounds.

Looking at SpeerLE GD #53618 and Speer Perosonal Protection GD #23618, the ballistics seem to be the same.

So what is the difference?

There really isn't a difference. I'd say most manufacturers slap on the LEO label to hopefully draw in more sales from that community.

Looks better to a jury though if it's got the LEO label.

Doubtful. It could easily be said the other way. That you were a vigilante who wanted to be a cop so you used cop ammo. I would worry more about the performance of the ammo than of the name.

IIRC, the LE version comes in more rounds per box.
