Smoked chicken

Recommended Posts

If you have a smoker, you probably know more than i do about it, but here's an easy, delicious chicken recipe. Maybe it'll steer someone in the right direction.

Salt and pepper pretty heavily a whole chicken with coarse ground pepper and coarse sea salt, and let stand in refrigerator overnight. 2 chickens are even better.:D

Put water in water tray, wood chips in bin, open draft vent halfway, and preheat to 250 degrees f.

Smoke chicken, occasionally adding wood chips for more smoke, for about 45 minutes to 1 hour per pound. until internal temp reaches 165 degrees f.

Enjoy.
