The guy apparently screamed about hating women so I wouldn't be surprised if it's more than him being Muslim.

Or just being crazy despite his race, religion,or politics......

I'm going to point out that it's possible for it to be a combination of all of those things (Mental health, racial angst, misogynistic view of women, religious extremism) and any one those factors is capable of exacerbating the others and becoming a catalyst.

I hope William Aprill does a review of this one after the facts become known.  His "They Are Not You" segments on social media are excellent.

Carry your gun and keep your head on a swivel, people.  The world isn't getting any nicer.  Exactly the opposite.

The article everyone’s been waiting for. From the “newspaper” where this happened.  :wall:

Truck stop stabbing spree suspect's mother: 'He's not a violent person'

https://www.knoxnews.com/story/news/crime/2020/04/09/pilot-stabbing-idris-abdus-salaam-mother-not-violent-person/5122340002/

Also, would our media please grow some balls and quit referring to these scumbags caught, quite literally, red handed as "suspects"?

MURDERER.  It's real easy to type.  M-U-R-D-E-R-E-R.  Hell, I bet Microsoft Word will even auto-complete it for them if they just start typing it.
