CZ Scorpion Pistol

FOR years I have been very dismissive of pistol caliber carbine’s. I was of the opinion that if I was going to have something shoulder fired it needed to be of a rifle caliber. The only purpose for a pistol caliber carbine was for competition purposes. I’ve begun to reevaluate my opinion.  They can be out right fun and the pistol versions offer a great deal of portability for a shoulder fired gun.  I recently purchased a CZ scorpion and I am really enjoying it.

First, I'm really enjoying your videos! You speak well, speak plainly and understandably.

Secondly, your information is accurate and easily understood. You don't use some mall ninja gun-speak to impress some of the video watchers out here in the real world.

Thirdly, I heartily approve of your purchase. I've owned a Scorpion for 2 years now and absolutely love it. I don't shoot it as much as I would like anymore. Life just seems to get in the way of personal pleasure.

I think your take on the Scorpion is spot on. The addition of HBI parts is one of the best things you can do to a Scorpion.

I did the trigger replacement, changed to a steel charging rod, extended the charging handle, did the AK style safety on the right side( works great btw), and not really necessary, but added the duck-bill mag release.

Each change has made a difference for me in handling the Scorpion.

I do like your using the weapon light as a hand stop. I think I'll give that a try.

As I said previously, I really enjoyed this video. Please keep them up as you can.

Looking forward to you doing a suppressor on it. I'd love to, but the cost, the long wait, and my advanced age make me think twice on that.

I keep telling myself I'm going to get a Scorpion someday.  I'm just too cheap to pull the trigger when I know I won't shoot it enough to enjoy the purchase...maybe that will change sooner or later.

But it's an awesome gun all around.  CZ hit a home run with this one.
