Simmons Whitetail Classic 3-9X40

Recommended Posts

Anybody used one of these scopes before? Got one on Ebay for $45 still in the box. What I've seen online is they're supposed to be pretty decent scopes. Itll be going on one of my .22s just wondered if anybody has used one before. Figured for $45 it'd be hard to beat.

Parallax set at 100 yards...

Yea I know, got a Vortex 4-12X44 on one of my others. Just can't use full power at shorter distances. The 100yd parallax never really bothered me on .22s.

@Henry347 let us know how it works for you? Could be a good value... Thanks!

Its honestly a good scope for the money, it's as clear as the Vortex Copperhead that I swapped over to another gun. Got tool-less turrets that are spot on, and the eye relief is great. Also came with flip up scope caps that ain't bad.

So far the gun shoots as good as it did with the Vortex. I'm pleased with it especially for $45, wish he had another because I'd bought it also. You can get them on Amazon for $65, I'll probably pick another up if I can get this Remington 597HB off a buddy.
