Hopefully getting permit soon

Recommended Posts

Hello all! I am scheduled to take the enhanced class on the 18th of July. Hopefully everything goes well throughout the process and I will get it!.. I guess really I have a question, reading laws and this and that often times is a little confusing to me the way things are worded so I figured I would ask. If everything works out and I get my permit, with me being an employee of a municipality ( water and wastewater systems, facilities operator) would I be allowed to carry at work by state laws, or would my city have to approve CCW permit holders the right to carry while working? I planned on asking this during my class but I figured I would go ahead and ask here too.

If you work for a city, they probably have a firearms policy. My guess would be they have a policy against it, especially for those that interface with the public. But that’s just a WAG, you would need to ask your boss.
