That's just Fkn' ridiculous right there.   I feel abused just looking at it!!!

Seriously, if you walk into RK at the right time, they were selling a 50rd box for $17.99.  I'm not sure of the brand they put out, but it was in a red and black box, the best I remember.  Didn't pay that much attention to it, since that wasn't what I was looking for.

Never let a good catastrophe pass you by and not make a profit on it. We really need to remember who our friends aren't.

And then pick another caliber, and another, and before you know it you won't have any store bought ammo!! Just an FYI on Tuesday in about 5 hours not rushing and that was including eating supper I loaded 1,075 .38 special.

I loaded 1k 9mm for me this week and helped a buddy load 1k 9mm last night. Time to convert over to 5.56. LOL

And .38 Special is just about the easiest caliber to reload.  Great cartridge to get started on.

But that’s kinda moot right now.

Yes it really is and is what I started with. My pastor is one of my shooting buddies and after burning a couple of boxes of 9mm in his carry gun, he usually ends up shooting .38's in my .357 or .40 S&W in my S&W 610. Cheap shooting is what I am all about.

I'm getting that way. . . I'm actually sitting quite pretty on ammo myself, but for some reason I can't help myself from looking in on the train wreck

I just like to look and laugh. As I said, I learned a lot from Obama.

It amazes me how many people didn't stock up all these years when ammo has been dirt cheap.  It really bothers me that anyone would complain...when gunshops and retailers were going broke and giving everything away I never saw a call to arms to help them stay in the black...why would we expect them to not make a profit now when the opportunity finally came?

I know. . I loaded up on .16 and .17 cent per round FMJ brass case 9mm and 27 to 30 cent per round brass case 556 during the good times. And it feels good.

I guess that's pretty good for the times. And to be honest I do get Magic Carpet Rides point. I almost always buy my ammo from sgammo. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong but it seemed during the last crises their prices didn't spike as quickly as many others did  online. But I certainly don't begrudge SG for being able to make some money when they can. I imagine from the manufacturer all the way down to the retailer there all getting a piece of price difference.
