Price gouging alert

Recommended Posts

I saw this yesterday myself.  Woman behind the checkout counter was defending the  price to a customer who commented that it seemed mighty high.  As a defender of the free enterprise system and the open marketplace, I don't hate gougers for taking advantage of the law of supply and demand when it's in their favor.  Neither do I have sympathy for them when the tide turns and customers remember their friends....

Cheers,

Whisper

Yea that is a little higher than the $6.11 per 50 for my reman.

Thing is, unless they've changed their policy, RR doesn't allow you to shoot reloads on their range.   Good thing I have empty factory boxes.  😉

I sure as hell wouldn’t be shooting there, if I had to pay for their ammo too! 🤬

Yeah, I don't shoot there often.    For clarification they only make you purchase ammo from them if you use one of their rental guns.   Otherwise they just don't want you using reloads.

You know... unless you have firsthand knowledge of what RR is paying for their ammo, any claim that they are gouging rather than passing along their own increases is completely an opinion.  🙄

I warned previously that the cost of ammo to suppliers was going to be increasing as what remained from previous years production dried up.

You're such an optimist.

2 weeks ago Rule King had 9mm for $8.99 a box i almost always buy a box when I am there whether I need it or not.  But check and store it up. By the way finely got around to putting my 300 black out AR pistol together and can’t find any ammo other than 2 box I got a few weeks back. Has anyone seen any that is reasonably price? Can’t believe I didn’t buy any back in November- January while gathering parts for the build.

I have been told my multiple people from all over the US that .300 Black Out is the hardest ammo to find right now. Good Luck.

I get what you’re saying, but I’m to the point that I just don’t trust any retailers anymore.
