new law introduced to protect property

Recommended Posts

I've done my part by contacting (e-mail) my reps in Nashville asking they back this bill because of the current unrest in the country. I also recommended it be given a lot of thought and worded very specifically so there is very little room for error.

We have members scattered over the entire state so just about every rep. should be contacted. It may or may not do any good but it won't hurt to try.

There's nothing there except "under certain circumstances". To get something passed those "circumstances" are going to have to be pretty clear. Killing trespassers isn't going to pass.

Did you read the text of the bill?  As with all proposed legislation on the State's website a .pdf of the proposed bill is provided by clicking on the bill number.

They need to get this passed ASAP.  If President Trump somehow pulls out this election we're going to need as much law on our side as possible.

Yes if Trump pulls this out, it could get bad but, if Biden ends up being President "UGH" it could get bad for the Leftists too.

No I did not. I was looking under the tabs and saw nothing, thank you for that.

True. The criminals won’t be satisfied with Biden being elected. I mean, come on, its an old white man and an ex-cop; that’s not going to work for them. They have seen that burning out innocent people’s business, beating them, and terrorizing people on the street will be treated in many cities as civil disobedience.

Law enforcement has failed to protect Americans from these animals, and we obviously need a path to protect ourselves; that is a right that many don’t want to acknowledge. Of course, those jurisdictions that have given the Police orders to stand down and allowed thugs to take over their streets won’t enforce the laws already in place to stop that.

I suspect they will not acknowledge any laws put in place to stop those criminals and will bring to trial anyone that uses force against those they see as their soldiers. Exactly as they are doing with cops now.

Wel, if the Democrats win control of the country, that being the congress and senate and White House, (there’s a very strong possibility of this) you’ll have to beat them to death with a ball bat for this law to apply anyway.

Nah, I've got scuba gear to retrieve something better from one of the many boating accidents we will be having.  Dang, gonna need a bigger boat!
