We better hope the SCOTUS helps. They are going to have to do their job. “It’s within our grasp to end our gun violence epidemic and respect the Second Amendment, which is limited.” The SCOTUS has to quit dodging the issues and lay out precisely what our rights are.

Of course if the Dems are allowed to pack the court; that will be a problem.

We just lost Remington even with the “Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act”. They could no longer afford to defend themselves. If that is repealed; all our American gun manufacturers will be gone.

And it appears “imports” can be easily stopped.

I suspect this won’t stop with guns either. If they can justify holding the gun manufacturers accountable for the actions of criminals; they can do the same with Drunk drivers and the automobile industry. Its about paydays for people that live off the government and they will do anything to do that; no matter what the cost to our economy and the working class. Liberals want to destroy big business and the wealthy. They aren't smart enough to understand the consequences, or they just don’t care, as long as it gets them reelected.

I suspect, just like the Presidential election, truck loads of illegal ballots will show up in Georgia and the Senate could be compromised.

I’m thinking you are correct Dave. The targeted the POTUS in this election, in the mid-terms it will be the congress and senate.

Here’s an interesting read:

I could be wrong, but I don’t think any of that will help. There is too little time, too many jurisdictions, too many criminals counting and changing ballots, and too little hard core evidence that can be used in court.

Couple that with a mindset that criminal acts are justified to get their way “at any cost”, fear of riots if the elections were legitimate, and the biggest percentage of the media siding with the liberals; and we have a problem that will be tough to overcome.

"There are proven strategies for reducing gun violence in urban communities without turning to incarceration. "

So we sure don't want to put  gangsters in jail, but those of us who've never committed a crime should have our property taxed or be forced to sell it to the government!  I suppose I could have quoted darned near the entire article with things I find outrageous. There was one paragraph that I agree with, though. The suggestion that LE be notified any time someone fails a background check. Those who are prohibited from firearms possession and who lie on the 4470 should be prosecuted and punished.

SCOTUS will certainly be important in all of this, and with Roberts' record we cannot count on him. Therefore, the senate races in Georgia become extremely important to any of us who value our natural right of self-defense. I'm going to donate a little money to the republican candidates there. I sure can't compete with the Hollywood elites who are pouring money into those races, but maybe a little bit will help.

Thanks Randall53, for linking this information!

I agree and disagree with this. Even members on this forum have had BGC's come back denied and then approved on appeal. If someone fails just because they  have the same name as a felon they should not be reported to the police.

No wonder they never uttered a peep about it on the campaign trail.

Randall, not trying to seem argumentative here but I'm not sure why you are saying this. Biden's gun control agenda wasn't a secret. He talked about it at every debate and several public events. This is is the same rhetoric we heard in 2008 and 2012.

I don't believe he will have the votes in the Senate to pass anything and even if they did, I believe SCOTUS has our back. I'm not going to consume myself with dread until the time comes. Me stressing over it isn't going to change the outcome.

I’m saying it because the subject of gun control was never mentioned by Biden nor was the question ever asked by the leftist moderators in the Trump/Biden Presidential debates. It was by design I’m sure since many more people watch those than the nominee debates. I’m sure it was covered in the democrat debates with each participant trying to prove how much more left/socialist they were than the others. As far as the SC having our backs that’s in question now with the democrats threats to pack the court so that they can pass anything they want by taking control of the WH, Congress, Senate and SC. I don’t for a minute think this is an empty threat. Their desire to control our every move, eliminate freedom, destroy the GOP and “fundamentally change America”  is real and so strong they will proceed with the execution of their mantra “win by any means necessary”, like ballot harvesting and other types of fraud through mail in voting, a favorite method of elections by Hugo Chavez and many other dictators. It’s the intent to fundamentally change America that makes the democrats so dangerous. It means they want to actually change the very foundation of our countries existence into something other than what we have now. To do that, they will have to disarm American citizens as a first step.
