LGS closing

I hope it's a temp thing, but with a Democrat administration, legislative majority, I can see it being a minute.  Manufacturers can only meet so much demand with the equipment on hand, and that means the big boys getting inventory from the benefit of bulk purchasing agreements take precedent.  This will put the squeeze on small business locally, because that's how the free market works when supply is constricted.

Sign of the times in a lot of ways.  Hopefully the gunsmith and transfer work can keep their cash flow from dropping too low.

I'm not that familiar with the stores inner workings, as to revenue. I do know the gunsmith charges $200 / hr.

Don't recall about transfer costs.

I doubt they could survive long with only those 2 sources of revenue. Small store, small town. Other stores in town also.

It's hard to be a retailer without stock.  I would guess others will follow the same path.  Closing up shop will help reduce overhead and possibly insure survival, as opposed to remaining open with nothing to sell and watching whatever equity you have disappear ...
