TNARMSCO Polymer Receivers

Snaveba

Recommended Posts

I have two.  I bought the lowers and built them up with parts kits.  One is a .300 AAC and one is a .223.  They don't see heavy use but both have worked flawlessly and are a few years old.  Wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

Here's one of them -- a .223 built for my daughter.  I don't think Magpul makes pink furniture any more, and maybe TN Arms Co doesn't make pink receivers any more, but I enjoyed building this one for her.  The other one is black and looks just like any other AR.

Cheers,

Whisper

Oh sure...for your daughter 😉

That's great. I've seen some ladies who had pink rifles who got some initial snickers setting up. Snicking stopped when they showed they knew how to use em.

Oddly, it would probably hurt more for most guys to get shot by this than a normal black AR. 🤣

Seems a lot of the colored parts have died out. I kind of wanted to make a Zombie Green (you know the color)  AR at one point.

Ive got two built up, one 7.5" 5.56 and another 10.5" 5.56.  I have been really impressed with them, have take a couple courses with the 10.5 and it held up just fine.  I would have no qualms about getting more of them I did tap the buffer retainer detent spring hole on both and the plastic seems to be holding up just fine.

I've put together a few ARs on TnArms plastilowers. They're lightweight which is a plus. They required some extra fitting that aluminum lowers typically do not. Through holes sometimes need reaming. The back of the lower may need cut down ever so slightly with a belt sander if using a rifle stock rather than a carbine stock. Though I believe there is now an option to purchase with that already handled. It's a documented catch so do look into that. None of that was a big deal. Basic shop tools pressed through without incident. Overall I'm happy with them and will use them again.

I called TnArmsCo this morning inquiring specifically about 80% lowers.

I was told they have none in stock and none in production.
They are waiting on new molds and will start filling orders upon arrival.
I then asked about an ETA on said molds .... none.
