All kinds of powder may not shoot to the sights I鈥檝e set on a large pile of ARs. A max charge of IMR 4320 does.

Varget and Reloader 15 are gonna be real close, maybe identical on the chrony. I just loaded the three powders into quickload and they were virtually the same peak pressure and muzzle velocity. Might be worth a try

I've inspected a handful of PSA assembled uppers lately and most of them have had some type of issue. 聽 Most common has been headspace too short for 5.56 chambers. 聽But I've also had some that the barrel is not dimpled for the gas block and the gas block alignment is way off. 聽Im not saying that they are all bad, just inspect your PSA stuff, especially if it comes from their budget lines. 聽

Went for years without having to check headspace in AR's. These days, I check them. I built a gun for a friend with a Stoner barrel. The headspace was so short on it that it wouldn't go into battery without slamming the bolt carrier home. The gun was a 2 1/2 hour drive from me. Had to replace the barrel.

So now, anything I build gets the gauges.
