shop.hodgdon.com has the 1LB jugs of H1000 in stock.  You just need to use the drop down to pick the size.

I've been checking the Hodgdon site twice a day since I saw this post (three weeks ago) and have yet to see any powder on sale. Does anyone know if there's a particular day of the week or month that Hodgdon adds powder for sale to their site?

They'll sell five jugs at a time, so I wonder if there might be interest in a group sale. I want an 8 lb jug of H1000, or better still, Retumbo. There's going to be just one hazmat charge per order, so if anyone else wants some perhaps we can buy the powder and split the hazmat and shipping fee. (This assumes someone who lives near by me.)

I've been checking American Reloading pretty often, too. They had some Midwest powder for sale recently, something with which I was unfamiliar. By the time I went to another site to see if the powder they had for sale would work for me and returned, all the powder was sold out. I guess you have to move lightning quick these days!

Unfortunately if you are only checking twice a week at online vendors, you are almost certainly not going to catch powder in stock. This is a commodity that sells out within a couple of hours, if not minutes.

Some sites you need to be logged into an account to see accurate stock levels. Email notifications from the vendors are not reliable. Best bet is to follow various "in-stock" threads on Arfcom, Discord, or Reddit.

This is a quick search of one of the in-stock threads I follow, and appears the powder was gone in a matter of minutes in each instance:

On 04/26 Powder Valley had H1000 in stock, 04/24 Natchez had it, 04/20 Powder Valley again, 04/15 Brownells had it.
