Ammo prices coming down

Recommended Posts

I’ve seen some prices getting better on some ammo and better availability. Not so much on the mail order places , they all still have it jacked up.

seems like the 9mm ammo is still way up, and the 7.62x39 is slowly coming down

I just scored 200,  Hornady 300 gr. JHP bullets from Midsouth, at the regular price.

Altho, I don't but factory ammo, I have noticed the reloading components I buy from MidSouth, Midway, Powder Valley, etc., have held the line on their prices ( when they have any .)  Of course there are others that haven't done so.

P & P. Patience & Persistence.

Maybe a bit of an explanation of P &P is in order. As we all know, finding anything gun/reloading relating is spotty at best. What I do, is, I watch these

sites daily, sometimes more if needed. You just have to be there when they have it in stock, and it doesn't last long usually.

I just happened to recheck the Hornady bullets at Midsouth earlier today, they had some in stock. I ordered what I needed, and let it go at that. I'm not a hogger. It takes patience to keep at it, but in today's market, it's the name of the game.

It also helps, that I'm fully retired & have the time to do that.

Good luck folks.
