H&R 940 .22 Revolver (price reduced)

Recommended Posts

This came from an estate. It's obvious this old timer never holstered this piece, nor shot it much. It's probably the cleanest H&R I've come across. The bluing and grips are 100%. Has a 6" barrel, adjustable rear sight and 9 shot swingout cylinder. It's like a new one, considering it's 50 years old. What info I found online was the 940 was made from 1970 to 1980, however in '73 they went to a transfer bar. This model doesn't have it, the firing pin is on the hammer. You have to cock it to the first click to carry it safe, or open the cylinder, so that puts it at 1970 - 72.

More H&R experts out there than me that can probably weigh in on this, but this is the first I've had that had a key hole in the grip butt.

$350.     FTF Rockvale/Murfreesboro area, TN resident over 21, good TGO rating a must. Thanks for your interest.
