So I was watching a video from one of the guntubers, and they had somehow procured a M67 frag grenade. Even with an SOT, dealer in destructive devices, or whatever, I didn't think such a thing was... a thing. Am I wrong? Well, I'm obviously wrong if the video is any indication, but does anyone know more about the subject? Please enlighten me.

I do not know where to buy them.  I suspect it would have to come from the manufacturer.

A Destructive Device dealer would be able to buy them without paying a transfer tax.  I can see that there would be a need for folks developing body armor, and other things to be bale to test  against grenades and other weapons.  Obviously, there would have to be strict accountability.

Theoretically, an individual could buy grenades or RPG rounds.  Each one would have to be serial numbered and require that $200 transfer tax.  And if you used it, you would have spent $200 plus the cost of the grenade!

Yes, you can own grenades, I've seen a couple of live ones in private hands. Problem is that it's a $200 tax and paperwork on each one. The couple I saw were people that had more money than the had sense and just had them for the novelty of it. Keep in mind there are also quite a few around that are off the books, I suspect these were stolen from Uncle Sam.

Make sure your fuse is long or your fingers will be short. It’s a very easy system to figure out. Consult the anachist cookbook. Don’t know what your using them for but 12 gauge perimeter alerts may be cheaper and less lethal.
