Moving a safe out of state (Memphis to Arkansas) - need help!

Recommended Posts

To make a long story short, I am in dire need of a safe moving company that’ll pick up a Liberty Colonial 50 gun safe in Memphis and move it to a relatives house in Batesville, Arkansas, and I need it to happen before the end of the month. The dang thing weights over 900 pounds and while I could rent the truck I don’t have the muscle to move it myself. So far the companies I’ve found via google have been no help; they don’t want to move it unless it’s part of a bigger move, which it isn’t. I’m really in a tough spot here time wise! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Yes that’s not actually a moving company, it’s a trick to get you to sign yourself up for spam/robocalls

Have you contacted piano moving companies?  They are used to heavy, single item moves. Not sure if they would tackle a safe, but I don’t see why not.

No harm in trying! Thank you

Wrong side of the state for specifics, but the place I bought my safe didn't do deliveries but two of their employees did, as a side business. May find the same thing in your area at tsuomeof the larger gun shops and I'm guessing they would move a safe for the right money.
