I traded a Gen 2 LCP on the LCP-Max.

Thanks for shoving that bug in my ear, now I've talked myself into one, it will be the last gun I buy as a VA resident, and I'm paying for it by putting in hours at my PT job at the gun counter at our little hardware store here in town.

I'm already looking for good pocket holsters for it on line...

I have the DeSantis Nemisis and it works fine.  But to be honest, I carry it more in a Targa IWB holster.  I lost a lot of weight and my new pants aren't baggy enough for a pocket holster. 🙂

Is this the one with a 6 round magazine? Also , Ruger makes a LC9 too, right?

The LCP Max has both 10 and 12 round mags available.  I think the original LCP was a 6 +1 setup.  Yes, Ruger makes an LC9 as well.

The original LC9 sucked. it was hammer fired like the original LCP. So Ruger reconfigured it and created the LC9S, which is striker fired and has a terrific trigger. I have the Pro version of the LC9S and love it. It was my main carry for several years. Now I must confuse that I carry the LCP-Max most of the time now.

Well, took it to the range this morning, shoots great, no, I mean GREAT! What a nice little pistol. And at least for now I'm just fine using the suede Masters pocket holster that carried my LCP Custom. I'm keeping that one too. I might splurge and order a Recluse pocket holster for it later on.

I was worried Saturday, I thought the one I had put aside for me was the last one in the store, and this customer wanted one! Luckily I found one more in  the safe, phew!...
