Nashville Constitution Carry for Children's Cancer Open Carry Event - Capitol - Sunday Sept. 19 '21, 2PM

Recommended Posts

Nella Muhima from the Nashville area here.  I am hosting a 100% volunteer charity event to benefit children with serious medical challenges and their families.  We are raising the money in the name of supporting the fundamental right to keep and bear arms, to benefit 2 great causes:

Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt (50%) 501(c)3

Ronald McDonald House Charities – Nashville (50%) 501(c)3

The co-organizer of the event has hosted numerous charity OC events in the past which were all family-friendly events to help the community.  We can't wait to see how this turns out - it is expected to raise a lot of money for the causes, get people out and meeting one another and exercising their rights, light some fires for liberty, and be a lot of fun.

The fundraisers are already live and online.  Organizers of the event receive no compensation and don't even touch the money - goes straight from the fundraising platform to the charities.  All donations are tax deductible.  Hope to see you there, meet you, and/or have your support in the form of donations and spreading the word.  Thank you!

Similar events have been done around the country, not all of them benefitting charity though.  We also hope people will want to send a message to their government representatives and officials so honor the Constitution and the right to keep and bear arms.  When you donate online, you can actually put in whatever you want as a name during checkout, and additionally a comment as well.  So individuals can send messages that matter.  Companies can show that they support the 2A and do something good.

So quiet.  No questions or comments?

Hi Nella, just checking is this event still on? I saw the Facebook event page seems like it has very few people invited. Perhaps you can share this with some of the ranges in the area to help with promotions (Nashville Armory / Franklin Armory / Royal Range / The Armory / Strategic Edge being some of the bigger ranges I know of around here)
