Why don't they just make a plate that looks like the state flag?

I hate the tnvacation.com thing too...I have a plate that was issued before it, and I'll for sure try to hold onto it if I switch vehicles.   Stupid thing to have in the TCA.

LOL. I had no idea this many people looked at license plates, much less actually read them.  I'm more concerned with the next idiot coming into my lane, than the plate in front of me.

In Knox County you could have 3-BR549.

I'm amazed that no one has questioned the fact that there is a law which requires the design to be changed every 8 years. The designs suck. There is no need to change thew current plate. Waste of taxpayer money once again...shocking, right?

They all look like someone had 5 minutes to come up with 4 designs. I agree that the #4 - tristar watermark would be nice if the watermark was colored red and blue. I would vote that one if it wasn’t so monochromatic.

If I have to pick one... I guess #3 - tristar modern. It’s basically the same layout we have now but with a different background picture. Plus it’s red, white and blue. Although I think its too dark with the blue background.

From the same geniuses that brought us this gem no doubt....

I prefer the white background option with the tristar.  The blue background would indicate a "blue" state to me, and don't need to give a bad impression like that .

I asked my County Clerk about that in Aug. when I renewed mine. She said we get new ones next year.
