I am looking for advice on best places to go for my first FFL transfer. Places near the airport preferred but willing to travel for cheaper background checks or transfer fees. Let me know what you guys think from experience

Update.   Website says their transfer fee is currently $25.

Haven't checked their fees lately but Music City Pawn use to be one of the cheapest around.     They have five locations.

Bellshire Hardware & Guns is the only store a buddy uses for FFL transfers.

They're good folks, I've used them as well.

OP, just down the road from you is The Gun Crew in Old Hickory. Saves you from cruising Dickerson Road, traffic, etc. Good place to kick tires on exotic guns too. He carries B&T, Korth & other top brands.

Good luck!

Probably worth noting that Music City Pawn has gone up to $40 for FFL transfer + $10 background check. That said, their Nolensvile shop handled my gunbroker transaction very smoothly and they called me 5 mins after delivery. And they’re convenient locations.
