Did everybody really miss this request followed by a Christmas gem from Mr. Nice Guy?!

To punish the community, he is going to take his business to *checks notes* Armslist and Gunbroker!!! Bahahaha.
I don’t mean to bash either of those sites, as I’ve used both in the past. To compare this community and either of those sites is…well, a joke.

I am thankful for y’all on this very Merry Christmas! I hope that Our Father blesses you and yours this season and beyond.

Side note: Red333 and tgtmasterchuck…where are you guys registered at? I want to buy you a gift! 😆

Let me set up a registry at:  https://www.midsouthshooterssupply.com/landingpages/reloading?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI0fH2z9vx8AIVuR6tBh3BeQBDEAAYASAAEgK_kvD_BwE

I was going to lock this thread and give him a couple of days to reconsider his approach, but after those last couple of posts, he’s gone for good.

Great way to introduce yourself on Christmas Eve.

Merry Christmas from the Ban Hammer!

I went ahead and moved it out of the classified section since it has gone far away from the selling of an item.

I mean, I see a few guys in here that might have their dignity for sale... lmao

I’d love to see him un-banned, politely invited back to TGO, just so he can lose it again and I can click the button this time.

It’s people like him that made me abandon Armslist years ago, even when they were completely free to use.

Yet another reason why I only buy and sell on TGO.  We aren't perfect, but we know how to take out the trash.  🙂

I am reminded of a lesson I learned years ago.  If you need to vent type it out let it marinate over night then delete it.  Really saves one from looking like a horses backside. Has saved me many times.

I'm on here at least once saying this over the years. 🤣

Or, just don’t be a d!ck.

For some this is a literal impossibility. I love how TGO is the bad guy when all he had to do was purchase it from his uncle. Hell his uncle could gift him the gun and then he could gift his uncle cash. Use a bill of sale and it’s good to go 🤷‍♂️

ATF frowns on such shenanigans, and there are some who've wound up in jail over similar "workarounds" for people (and sales) that are illegal for some reason or another.  I have no idea about the guy's circumstances, but you're correct that a better solution would have been a sale from uncle to Dick, rather than going off on TGO ...

This would only be the case if the uncle couldn’t legally sell the gun making it straw purchase or sale. If the uncle is legit legally allowed to buy and sell I wouldn’t see much risk in it. Hell I’ve bought guns from older guys knowing I didn’t want them just to make their lives easier. As long as each time the gun changes hands it’s legal to legal and use a bill of sale it’s pretty low risk. Especially if you don’t talk about it on the interwebz. If he’s have come in here saying he had X gun for sale and left the whole uncle story out of it most buyers wouldn’t have a clue honestly.
