for-sale .22 High Standard Sport King

I got the chance to buy this gun several years ago and had always desired to have one. I bought it from the original owner that had it for approximately 30 years if memory serves me correctly. It is in the original box with one magazine. I can find no defect on this gun. I have never shot it. Cleaned and oiled and put back in the box and back in the safe. She is looking for a forever home .        600.00$

Great question, I have never shot it, will check and see what’s marked on the barrel and let you know. The bluing is so dark on this gun it was very hard to take a good picture.

Just for your reference, it's .22lr.  Standard velocity only is recommended.

 

Unofficially called a "Small push button" - (in reference to the barrel release button).  100 series.  Mid '50's production.

I've seen this gun and it's as described or better.  This is a great gun for a High Standard collector.

I was tempted to buy it "just because" it was so nice but I'd have wanted to stick it in the safe for another 20-30 years because it was too nice to shoot.

Semi pistols won't shoot all three, they're dedicated to only one caliber. Some models came with a swappable barrel to change calibers with. Bolt actions can shoot all three as they're controlled feeding via the bolt.

I used to have a BB gun that looked exactly like this when I was about 10, a lot of bruises on the neighbor's cat because of it.  Cool pistol for sure.
