ad-closed Wanted 12ga Pump

Looking for a pump 12ga that is either larger capacity or one that I can add a mag tube extension to. Dad let me know he was looking for one right after I passed on a couple I saw. Since he is going to use this for a home defense, I would prefer a name brand. Right now there are no limits on barrel length or types of furniture.  Not picky on looks as long as it functions well. Hoping to find on on the lower price end that might need a little love. I know I can always get him a Maverick 88 for a couple hundred bucks but just seeing what else is out there. 

In North East TN- Tri-cities area, but would entertain offers from farther out.

I have a 590 that is semi hook up I'd let go for 500ish but maybe out of your price range its the 20% barrel with larger capacity

I also have a NIB Maverick 88 18" I would sell for $285 and I'll just keep the 590.

Don’t know which part of the state you’re in, but Academy has 18.5 inch Mavericks for $199 and 20 inch with extended magazines for $229. Heck of a deal considering they take all of the 500 and most (if not all) of the 590 parts.

Maybe there is an old 870 or something else that I could add a mag tube extension to. Open to that if the price is right.

@RED333 Been watching the local one. Had them in stock a bit back but not now. Not in a rush. Either something will pop up or I will grab one when it shows up.
