Hey everyone!

Just moved my wife and toddler here from California at the end of last October and am starting to really miss shooting. Is there any public land or reasonable ranges around that are good to sight in some AR's and do some pistol shooting as well? Maybe even somewhere that will let me set up my own steel targets?

Thanks in advance, and I look forward to interacting and maybe meeting some of you.

Welcome, and this is a common question we get from transplants from out west. BLM land like you were used to out there simply doesn’t exist in this part of the country. So your shooting activities will have to be on public or private ranges, or personally owned land.
