While your looking I'd also recommend the not so compact USP Compact it's what I carry in the winter...I used to have the 45 tactical and oddly enough the USP 45 Compact was a softer shooter so i kept it and sold the tactical.  It guards my nightstand with an AAC TiRant attached.

I'm not either, nor am I a member of gun broker.  I've purposely stayed away from gb to try and preserve what saving I do have... and the search continues

One can see the pricing on GB w/o being a member. I've been on there for years & I've bought maybe 4-5 guns there, maybe a dozen times for mags & accessories I can't find somewhere else. They're just a great source.

Also, as a member you can search the closed auctions, see how much specific items sold for. Listing price is quite often not the selling price on an expensive gun.

Agreed that it's too much. Unless of course it comes with extras. The ad is pretty vague on those details. You should be able to find one in pretty good shape for around $700 if you look long enough.

Why would you sale such a nice 45 Tactical?

If their item is on Gun Broker, they won't pull it off & sell it in the shop while the auction is still live. So be prepared for that. Now, if it doesn't sell in auction, they'll happily sell it to you at a good price.

I've been hitting GB for a USP .40 Compact. I've seen several .45acp Compacts in there. Nor do you have to be a member to search or see the prices, thank goodness. Most of the .45 models were decently priced as I recall. Worth a look, IMO.

Yeah, around $900 to $1000 seems to be the going rate on a USP in 45.  There are a couple of exceptions on GB but the only one that really stood out to me was a two-tone compact.  As for the Tactical, they hover around that same price range, if not more.  If you can find one for under $900, you've got a steal on your hands.  Best of luck.  If I had one to sell you, I would.
