92 LTT

Hey y’all I am looking into buying a Langdon Tactical beretta 92. I think I want the full size with the ND3 coated parts and the optics cut. Does anyone have any experience with this model or any other of their 92 series customs? Would love to know if it’s worth the money. It would also be my first 92

A friend has one and recently began having light strikes.  Turns out his hammer spring was toast.  More research indicated that his is not the first. He uses it in a competitive setting and it gets the hell shot out of it, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen hammer springs go bad.  Not that quickly, anyway.

I had one for a short time and I regret getting rid of it.  I put about 1500 rounds through it before the "great pandemic" and since I was shooting less due to less ammo purchasing, it got traded or sold off.  I really loved the trigger and I have a soft spot for 92's anyway.  If I come across another one I'll probably snag it up, but I'm not sure that I'm a fan of the dot on the 92s.  Great gun though.

Yeah I am debating getting the optics cut or not. I feel like an optic cut on a 92 just doesn’t look great. And I’m not very into red dots on handguns yet.

Putting a dot on a Beretta 92 does seem a bit like fuel-injecting a Model-T Ford, but the dot is life.
