TGO Light and Dark Color Schemes - NEW

Recommended Posts

Hey folks.   If you like to have some variety in your life or prefer a Light or a Dark color scheme in particular, you can change the way TGO looks by scrolling way down to the bottom of the page and looking for the "Theme" link.  Once there, you can choose between a few different options.

Click Theme (1st) and then click whichever color scheme you prefer (2nd), just like this picture shows.

Maintaining a dozen different themes means that every time I update the forum software or introduce a new feature, I have to update every theme by hand.  It's a tedious process and sometimes slows down my ability to get security and stability related updates put on the forum.

If I have to weigh security and stability against a Baskin Robbins array of flavors... I'm going to have to err on the side of security and stability.

Two days ago we had a problem caused by a corrupted cache of the different themes that I had running on TGO.  The forum was down for about 8-hours because of it.  This is kind of a damned if I do, damned if I don't scenario.

Yea, no, I understand all that, still, not gonna sugarcoat it,   But I too will just deal with whatever you decide to go with.

Only because I love you... the wide themes are back.  Go check the Theme menu at the bottom of the page now.
