Benelli M4 question

Mine has it. I’ve grown to prefer it.

I could maybe speculate that I like it because it allows me to have a similar grip amongst the platforms I spend the most time shooting. Whatever the case, it’s comfortable and seems like it belongs there

I have only had the pistol grip M4 so I cannot compare to a non-pistol grip style. However, I am a big fan of my M4. It shoots great, the recoil is stiff but manageable and the pistol grip is at a decent angle so you don't jam up your wrist if you shoot for a bit. The only complaint at all I have with the M4 is the dang bolt release "button." I know some people make after market options but I am hesitant to mess with "the most reliable weapon system" in the marine corps armory as one general put it.

I have one which came with the field stock, (no pistol grip), finally got my hands on a pistol grip stock. Much better and easier to handle. Especially when getting older. 😉
You can shoot this shotty all day with no sore shoulder. Like shooting an AR.

Did a lot of work on mine. It's easy to work on. My goal was to keep it tool free to disassemble. Still is.

Mine has a pistol grip, I am getting a 1301 Beretta mod 2 with a pistol grip as well.

The pistol grip for me anyway makes the shotguns easier to get a good stance when shooting

Familiarity and use -

Are you more familiar with either when it comes to shotguns? I'd lean that way in this case.

What do you plan to use it for? For defensive purposes, SHTF scenarios, door entry, and house clearing, I'd go pistol grip. If you have any (as odd as this may be I've seen it) thought of hunting, or shooting clay sports, I'd go standard stock.

I have an M2 for defensive purposes and went with the standard shortened stock, I'm more comfortable with it.
