Well It Happened Again. Sniper at the Highland Park IL. 4th of July Parade.

6 dead and 24 wounded. Shooter was shooting from a rooftop.  Left the rifle and got away. Police are actively looking for the perpertrator now and have asked people to shelter in place.

Police are describing the shooter as a young white meal, 18 to 20 years old with a small build, longer dark or black hair, wearing a blue or white tee-shirt.

Scroll down in this article from Foxnews and you can hear the gunfire in a video someone shot.  It definitely came from a high powered semiauto rifle of some type.

The 22 year old suspect has been named.  He is on the loose in his 2010 Honda Fit.

His AR-15 was recovered at the scene.

Saw where a person of interest has been detained. He is the person named by police, but not yet identified to be the actual shooter. 

Garufa: where did you see it was an AR? I know it was a rifle and it was found at the scene,  but I've seen no mention of what kind.

Fox News reported it earlier.  It’s somewhere in their madness of constantly changing headlines and live updates.

Completely agree. I had a feeling on Friday there would be at least one mass shooting during the holiday weekend. Some friends were going downtown to watch fireworks tonight and wanted us to go but that thought was lingering in my mind. Sad times.

Once again the MSM Plasters their name and Facebook posts leading up to this and gives them a new record to break. Check out the body count for this weekend in Chicago before this but no mention in MSM.  They need to cut out making this person a herp to many. It will not cut it all out but would be a good start.

Everyone is always quick to find some way to ties these wack jobs to their ideological opponents, but the truth is that they’re normally just wack jobs.
