Me and my 6 year old tagged out in TN. I killed my 2 the first 2 days of season. My son got one during Juvenile and then one opening day. Our last birds where double beards.

He just turned 6 in February. We practiced for several months.

Wow! Good on you! He has a bright future ahead of him. I never saw a boy get into trouble hunting and fishing.

Well when I was a boy in south Fl, swimming was a BIG NO NO, gators and all. Would get a belt for swimming and not fishing. So dad put us in the Boy Scouts where swimming was OK.
