How's the quality on those taurus's Rab? I've heard conflicting tales about their customer service, and one post I read on another forum was from a gunshop owner that got one straight from the factory and it was nicked and he had a heck of a time getting it fixed..he quit carrying them.

while I understand that they've gotten alot better since they first came out, Its my understanding that they have alot left to be desired in the customer service dept.

Quality of the guns is fine, very good in fact.

Quality of customer service is nonexistent. The IRS has better customer service. So if you get one and it doesnt need anything (and it shouldnt) you will be getting a good deal. If it does need anything you'll wish you spent more money for a Smith (not that Smith makes a .410 revolver).
