A quieter future...

Recommended Posts

After the most recent collective shoot I participated in, the seed of desire has been planted for a suppressor on my AK74... (it was embarrassing to have the loudest guns there, except for when Joe's 11" FAL was running full, un-choked.

Frank?

My gun currently has the standard commie reverse threads for the muzzle-brake... Would it be better to re-thread the muzzle to 1/2"x28, and install a .22 suppressor, or, should I look into finding/making an adapter? I'm not worried about losing the compatibility with my current muzzle-brake, since there are plenty of 1/2"x28 threaded AK74 brakes on the after-market. I'm thinking that if I do the former, I will have the ability to use the same suppressor on a .22 rimfire or AR later on.

I will be pursuing this very seriously by this winter.
