LDA opinions?

I've been intrigued with the Para LDA concept since I first saw it. I had an opportunity to try one, and I found it to be very nice. I've just always heard things about their spotty quality. If you could choose between, say, a Colt Commander and a Para Tac Four (the one model I find really interesting), both .45, both the same price, what would be your personal preference?

I owned a Para LDA 12 and loved the trigger and the 1911 style manual of arms. That being said, it's reliability was awful. Failure to extract, stove pipe jams etc. I must admit that I didn't send it back to Para for repair but I took it to a good gunsmith in Indianapolis who replaced the extractor and it just didn't help. I hear they have fixed the extract/eject problems, but my advice is:

BUY THE COLT.

Well, considering that my carry gun is a Para C7/45 LDA, I'd say I'm a fan. I've also owned the Stealth Hi-Cap (5" 14-rnd LDA) and the Colonel (4.25" 14-rnd LDA) over the last few years. I've recently tossed around the idea of picking up a used 7/45 LDA from ASP in Joelton, as a second gun to have around.
